The Optical repeater, SOR-200, is a 2 channel serial optical signal over a long distance single mode fiber device. Asynchronous signals can be connected to client side port 1 and 2. thus two serial inputs with ST connectors are available and these can be multiplexed onto trunk port 3. Two devices with and optical interface can be connected to port 1 and 2 via MM fiber. These signals are transmitted to trunk port3 via 20km SM fiber with LC connector. The SOR-200 supports DC voltages or AC voltage sources. To supports commissioning, loops can be activated for client side port 1/2 so that the input signals are reflected at each port to support commissioning of the optical fiber connections.
