The CWDM Mux Demux Racks include CMD series and WDM Fiber Saver Rack - WFS series, the former support duplex fiber while the latter support single fiber. Both are standalone, passive models for CWDM wavelength from 1271nm to 1611nm.
When fiber availability is limited, the CWDM Mux Demux Racks can increase the bandwidth on the existing fiber infrastructure. By using 18ch CWDM Mux Demux Racks for 10Gbps per channel service, up to 180 Gbps could be supported on single or dual core fiber. The CWDM Mux Demux Racks with Transponder integration provide the primary wave division and combination functions for CWDM application to save fiber plant cost and expand network capacity.
